Armand and Louis relationship seems to be more highlighted in the series which makes it more appealing. Especially with Lestat playing in Louis’ mind and his guilt. The new actress for Claudia is seriously giving me the Ester from Orphan with Jane and Alice from Twilight. 🧛🏻‍♂️🧛🏾🧛🏽🧛🏾‍♀️🩸

I watched the original film before starting the series. They both left me intrigued and dramatically seduced. The realization that Louis was now a powerful immortal but still was needing to still struggle with racism as well as having a strained relationship with his family is heartbreaking. What I loved about Claudia is how we not only get to experience her point of view in the interview, but her emotional journey as a vampire trapped in the body of a teenager. People often say that Twilight was filled with toxic relationships, but no doubt this relationship is just as if not more toxic. Lestat loves Louis but wishes for him to embrace his lifestyle as a vampire. Louis loves Lestat, but feels he has no empathy for what he’s sacrificed for his love or for the fact that Claudia is the closest thing he could have to the life he’ll never have. Claudia loves Louis and was grateful the skills Lestat taught her. However she hates that Louis chooses to heed to Lestat when he abuses them and doesn’t care about their own feelings. This season finale was literally a bloodbath and tragic romantic one. The revelation of Armand definitely surprised me, and I was “tell me more, tell me more!” 🧛🏻‍♂️🧛🏾🧛🏾‍♀️❤️💔🩸🖤⚰️🏳️‍🌈

When we see Sam's guarding Armand, we also see (especially in the first shot of him there) that he's holding scythe. The coven is also slow a few times to silence outbursts from Claudia and Louis and Lestat going off-script. What if Armand's achilles tendons were also cut, so he'd be slow enough Sam really could behead him with that scythe? What if the coven was also doing mental battle on Armand? When we see Lestat in S1 make all the soldiers leave the home, he gets a nose bleed. Armand is stronger, but this is a larger building with many more people with heightened emotions. It's believable he couldn't pull the banishment hypnosis trick enough to save all three of them. And if he let Claudia live but not Madeline, Claudia really would throw herself into a fire like Armand told Madeline she eventually would, and that might have been even worse for Louis's mental health. If this happened, would you forgive Armand? I do.

The negative comments about Claudia are not it. As if Claudia had any say in her life. Idk how old Delainey is but she passes as an adult, whereas a real 14 year old would not be able to do anything by herself. She would stick out like a sore thumb realistically. Claudia “chose” the coven because she wanted for once to be treated like an adult just for her to continue be treated like a child until she was trialed as an adult by the vampires she was hoping to accept her. Louis was never going to choose Claudia. Never. He’s been consistent through and through again, he wanted her as a daughter but couldn’t be a real father to her because in reality he never wanted her. Claudia is all alone. Always has been, always will be. She’s got every right to be “a little shit”

Y'all. Armand is the villain. Keep in mind the 1st book is from Louis' POV. All of the other books are very Lestat centric. Louis is not a reliable narrator. RIP Claudia, she got a raw deal. Next season you'll see, it will be based in The Vampire Lestat, Queen of the Damned, maybe a splash of Blood and Gold and hopefully Tale of the Body Thief foreshadowing. But y'all, Claudia went out like a BOSS. ❤❤

I was SO MAD. That battle was literally the best moment of the entire 5 movies and then it was all a freaking vision. None of it actually happened. I was cussing out everyone in that movie. Now, I don't mind it. I still loved seeing you realize it was just a vision.

Guuuurls... I have Armand thoughts, but don't get it twisted. I wouldn't ever begrudge you your hatred for him for the fallout of his unhinged scheming, and Claudia didn't deserve to be collateral damage <3 I understand why the show touched on Armand's past so lightly to preserve the mystique and the tension, but I think it's important to remember that Armand was sold into slavery by his parents as a child. The only semblance of human love (and I don't just mean romantic love, ANY love - familial, platonic etc) has been the transactional, predatory 'love' of a pedarast that bought, kept, and traded him like a bauble. Then he witnessed said benefactor be killed by the same vicious coven that will go on to murder Claudia and Madeline, and they only spared him conditionally with him falling in line with their archaic ideals and systems and programed him with a heavy, heavy dose of loathing for all things vampire including himself before they placed him as a coven leader. So he does make super ice cold calculated plays and play 3D chess and never takes risks or allow himself to be truly vulnerable, but I think he comes by that desperation to control all situations and variables honestly after dealing with 400 years of being in situations where the slightest misstep was likely to get you tortured and mutilated. Like, it's easy to say 'everyone's got trauma, that's no excuse' but, like... Armand's TRAUMA'S got trauma, feel me?

I don't know why people thought Hughie's mom was a hallucination. It was very obvious that it wasn't every time the doctors was in the room and they were talking about updates about his dad. As far as Kessler being a hallucination though that is fascinating. The only issue is Butcher was with the gang the entire time in the barn. I feel that they would have noticed him slipping away kidnapping Sameer and chopping his leg off. There's no way he had the time to do all of that without anyone going where the fuck is Butcher at

Butcher is the only hallucinating, no one else is. Hughie’s mom is 100% real. Whereas Becca and Kessler are definitely in butchers head. They are an Angel and Devil concept. Becca always shows up when he’s having positive thoughts and Kessler only shows up when it’s a negative thought.

Claudia has the baddest line of this episode about coming back and killing them all.
